Our mission is to be a premier insurance solutions agency of scale and scope that solves customers needs around everyday and catastrophic risk using analytics, financial products and innovations.

History

Common Loon Insurance Agency was created in 2023 on the premise that there is an unmet need for analytically focused insurance agents. The founder, Chris Meredith, worked on the enterprise side creating the actual insurance products; the coverages, the pricing and the processes that deliver the products. During this time, Chris noticed that oftentimes features were not being used thoughtfully, often resulting in higher insurance premiums and less overall value to the customer. Following his entrepreneurial dream, Chris decided to open an agency from scratch so that he could help individuals and businesses utilize insurance tools in the most effective way.

Our Operation

Common Loon Insurance Agency is located in Long Beach, CA. We offer consultation and advising with respect to the insurances we sell. Insurance types include various types of Property & Casualty and Life.

Our Agency is independent! This means we are not captive to one product and can pull risk management options for you from multiple carriers and programs. We have the freedom to work with you to make the best choice from a selection of options.

Team

Christopher (Chris) Meredith – President & CEO

Chris started his insurance career in 2003 after obtaining an undergraduate degree at University of Washington and an MBA at The George Washington University.

For the first 20 years of his insurance career Chris created and managed insurance products for some of the largest insurers in the world. These experiences armed him with an intimate understanding of insurance coverage, insurance pricing, insurance processes and how they all work together to deliver value to customers.

Chris is a family man with a wife and two children. If you really want to get him going then ask him about his love for the Mountains.
